Endemic Optimized Birding Tour - WQBT03

All the 33 endemic birds will be covered by this tour. Sri Lankan endemic birds aggregated within low and high country wet zone rainforests where we have scheduled two to three rainforests to give the maximum potential to observe all the endemics. Makandawa Forest Reserve and world famous Sinharaja Rainforest are low country rainforests which host most of the endemic birds except high elevation endemic birds. Galways Land National Park and Horton Plains National Park are montane rain forests which hold one of the rare endemic Sri Lanka Whistling Thrush/ Aranga. This tour package also include jeep safari at Udawalawa National Park which is the only national park locate in intermediate zone of Sri Lanka, which will give you extra opportunity to observe more wildlife including wild Asian Elephants.
